Introduction

Earthsong Organic Farm & Retreat Center is dedicated to the celebration and enhancement of life through a deep commitment to, and an exploration of, sustainability.

The Earthsong Organic Farm & Retreat Center seeks to:

Create an environment where one heals the body and mind, nurtures the Earth, and experiences the fullness of Spirit
Work in harmony with natural processes to foster a sense of community in the group and a sense of wholeness in the individual
Produce high quality, vital food of the greatest possible nutritional value
Produce this food organically, that is, without the use of chemical inputs in the form of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides
Teach and share lifestyles which encourage physical and spiritual wellness for the individual as well as for the planet, through workshops and retreats.

Since 2003 Earthsong has developed a basic infrastructure for this project which includes over 70 acres of land in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in southwest Virginia. With the help of the GLC Memorial Fund and retreatants who volunteered labor, 7 cabins and a bathhouse have been constructed along with a greenhouse, tractor barn and deer fencing for the organic garden. There has been an outlay of over $300,000.00 on the land to date.

Earthsong hosts a variety of retreats for teens and adults and has cabins available for solo retreats and/or short term rental by individuals, families and groups up to 20.
